OUR VISION

Our vision is to give succor to the old people in the society and at the old
people and destitute home, indigents, persons with disability, and prison inmates
especially the female prison inmates some of whom are nursing mothers.

OUR MISSION

our mission is to carter for the elderly, the destitute and persons with
disability and create sustainable solutions to alleviate the suffering, promote
education and improve healthcare of the elderly persons, prison inmates
especially the female inmates and We strive to empower individuals giving them
the tools and opportunities they need to build a brighter future to restore hope
and change the narratives of the poor and indigent persons in the society.

our foundation strives to ensure access to quality medical, mental health, counseling and reproductive care to address the trauma, addiction and other social challenges. Through advocacy, education and collaborative partnership with healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders, we aim to break down barriers to
healthcare within the prison system and old people’s home then foster an environment that recognizes and supports the health and dignity of every woman in the prison and the elderly in the society leading to fulfilling lives in the later stages of their lives.

It is a firm belief of our foundation that supporting prison inmates especially the female prison inmates is very important for rehabilitation and empowerment through provision of resources, education, and counseling aiming at breaking the cycle of incarceration and helps these women reintegrate into the society successfully when freed.

Impact: over the years, Zobam foundation has positively impacted the livesmany seniors and inmates, providing them with a nurturing
environment and a sense of belonging. Our organization remains
committed to expanding its reach and continuously improving its service to meet the evolving needs of the aging population and the female inmates.

Zobam foundation envisions a future where prison inmates
especially the female inmates are equipped with the tools they need to break the cycle of incarceration, rebuild their lives and contribute positively to the society. In the other hand, our foundation looks forward to creating a nurturing environment that promotes the health, happiness and dignity of the old people.

Care giving: Our organization takes care of personal hygiene and sanitation of old people in the society and at the old people’s home while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure that they
receive proper medical check-ups and attention with some gift items for their daily upkeep.


Skill Acquisition and Empowerment: our efforts extend beyond care giving as we also work with the prisons (correctional center) officials to train the female inmates in skills such as hair dressing, bead making and tailoring. We also corroborate effort of government in supporting the
physically challenged persons through skills acquisition and empowerment.


Community Engagement: Zobam foundation fosters sense of
community among residents through organized events, social
gatherings and recreational activities. We also create a vibrant and inclusive community where residents can participate in activities tailored to their interest and abilities. This helps to combat feeling of loneliness and promotes mental well-being.

 

Advocacy and Education: Advocate for the rights and well-being of the elderly within the community and at a broader societal level and
conduct educational programs to raise awareness about issues related to aging, including health, legal rights and social support. our foundation specifically run programs that ensures promising students (less privileged) have the opportunity to pursue higher education through scholarship.

 

Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance the quality of services provided to meet the evolving needs of the aging population and seek feedback from residents, families and staff to implement improvements and ensure the highest standards of care.


· Crisis Intervention and Support: Our foundation is committed to developing protocols for handling emergencies and crisis affecting the elderly to ensure a swift and coordinated response and also provide emotional and practical support to residents and their families during challenging times.

 

 

 

 Legal Assistance and Advocacy: Plans are under way by Zobam foundation to provide aid services to address issues related to unjust sentencing. Parole and reentry barriers while also advocating for policy reforms that consider the unique circumstances of female inmates and promote a more equitable criminal justice system while ensuring total
compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations governing old people’s home.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation: Our foundation conducts regular
assessments (weekly) and collaboration with correctional facilities to ensure the effectiveness of the programs. Success is measured by reduced recidivism rates, increased educational attainment and
improved mental health outcomes amongst female inmates. We also regularly evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust them based on evolving needs of elderly.

 

Staff Training and Development: our foundation conducts training programs for staff resident at old people’s home to stay abreast of the best practices in elderly care and incorporate advancements into the foundation’s processes.

 

Healthcare Access: our foundation collaborate with health
professionals on voluntary basis to offer free medical services to the old people at the people’s home as well as in the society in general and prison inmates.

 

Community Reintegration Support: Our foundation is working to develop a mentorship program connecting female inmates with successful women who have overcome similar challenges as well as collaborate with employers to create job placement opportunities and advocate for policies that support the employment of formerly incarcerated individuals.
